Eng., Potassium Iodide. Formula, KI. Form.-Colorless crystals or white granular powder. Odor and Taste.-A faint, iodine-like odor; a pungent, saline, afterward bitter taste, with a disagreeable, brassy after-taste.
In 0.7 part of water or about 22 parts of alcohol. Average Dose.-5 grains (0.3 Gm.).
