Acetyl-para-amido-salol. A non-toxic compound, being an effective substitute for salicylic acid, and having none of the unpleasant after effects of that agent. It is given in doses of sixteen grains, in wafer or capsule, three or four times a day. It has proved especially useful in influenza, in acute rheumatism, sciatica, neuralgia, chorea, etc.
Further clinical experiences must demonstrate the relative therapeutical value of these combinations.
