The efficacy of this drug in psoriasis was accidentally discovered by Hardy, and personal experience convinces me that it is of service. It is well adapted to hospital use, but cannot, for obvious reasons, be extensively employed in private practice. It may be given in the same doses and manner in which it is used in gonorrhoea, and with the usual precautions against the production of too much gastric, intestinal, or renal irritation.
