It should be treated kindly and never cut, but apply hot fomentations, cloths wet with hot water, and tincture of Myrrh should be added. If unable to prevent their forming, poultice with wild indigo-root, finely powdered, wet with chloride of limewater, adding to this tincture of Myrrh. Give Arsenicum for the burning, and Hepar sul. later to hasten suppuration.
