Q. I have frequently read your warnings about connecting refrigerator-wastes to the drain, so I had mine arranged as shown by the accompanying sketch, which may interest some of your readers and call out suggestions as to how it can be improved.

A. The arrangement seems a very good one. If the trap was placed close to the refrigerator it might prevent the ice melting so rapidly.
