A large number of people now report they control colds successfully by this method; they are to be congratulated and we hope they will communicate their knowledge to others. Many who are presently unaware of the power available to them will learn through education and when that day dawns the colds that are now so common will gradually vanish.

It is tragic to see so many people suffer unnecessarily from the distressing effects of sinus disorders that in many cases have existed over a period of years. Practically all the chronic cases that I have encountered will clear substantially by one half hour after specifically polarizing the sinus cavities. If the trouble reoccurs after a few days, further treatment by specific polarizing is generally all that is required for permanent and complete relief.

The corrective measures require the same basic rules for specific polarizing as that outlined for colds. When faced in each of the four directions tap the bones associated with the sinus cavities which include the nasal bone and those around the eyes, nose and ears. (See Figure 1). The rounded end of a wooden spoon handle is a useful instrument for tapping; use two, one in each hand to stimulate the bones on the corresponding side of your body. Pause for four seconds after tapping before making the turn into the next direction. When the bone stimulation has been completed in each of the four directions, turn into your channel facing towards your Vivaxis and breathe deeply three or four times through your nose; reverse your direction and repeat the breathing a comparable number of times.

During the entire manoeuvre of polarizing and stimulating be sure the head is level and straight to the body; also, do not tap with your fingers or cross your hands over to the opposite side of the body.

The receptor cells of the sinus reflexes terminate in the fingers and feet. In the feet they are situated at the centre of the bottom of each toe and the centre part of both heels. These are contact points when the feet are placed on the floor and generally any disturbed receptor becomes automatically repolarized, especially if the person is without shoes.

If the sinuses are still not completely clear, the problem may arise from a disturbed magnetic pattern in one or more of the finger receptors. Should this prove to be the case, the correct pattern can be reinstated by the method of repolarizing the fingers described in Chapter 6.

Those of us who have not experienced the physical distress associated with sinus disorders find it hard to visualize the cross these victims have to bear. Operations to drain the sinuses will alleviate their suffering, but in so many cases the relief is only temporary. I will relate a recent experience of a young lady in her early thirties who had suffered from the discomforts of congested sinuses for some eighteen years. She had endured many disturbed nights with little rest.

After the specific polarizing of her sinuses she went for a half hour walk in isolation. Within about fifteen minutes after polarizing she was amazed to find one nostril quite clear; after another five minutes the other nostril cleared. When she returned she hugged me with emotion and observed, "If only I had known this before, I could have been spared eighteen years of torture and discomfort".

Several subsequent specific polarizings were necessary. I also recommended that once a week for several months, she breathe through her nose as she faced to her Vivaxis and then reversed in the opposite direction. This stimulates the magnetic wave flow to the sinuses and aids the process of repair.
