Thlaspi Bursa Pastoris, Capsella. In large doses (f.e. or ec. tr., 1/4 to I f3) is hemostatic and antiscorbutic, and is used in chronic diarrhea and passive hemorrhage. In small doses (@, 3 to 5 I.) the homeopaths esteem it highly in renal and vesical irritation as a soothing diuretic. Where uric acid or insoluble phosphates or carbonates produce irritation of the urinary tract, they use it. Also in albuminuria during gestation. From pretty adequate testimony their use of the green plant mother tincture in this class of affections seems to be well sustained by the results.
