Take a string of candle wick, impregnate 'it with cantharides, and with it make a narrow ring of blister around the tumor.

5876

Another excellent remedy is to apply a small blister near the base of the tumor, and irritate the skin on the opposite side in line with the swelling with a saturated tincture of iodine. The application of two irritants of different intensity arranged so as to have the morbid action between the two will favor resolution better than one alone.

Treat by repeated and deep punctures into the gland. - Cameron.
