Mix and grind a paste as follows:

68 pounds red seal lithopone (standard quality);

pale boiled oil (heavy body);

100 pounds paste.

Thin this paste with 5 gallons pale mixing varnish of China wood oil composition, that will dry of itself in from six to eight hours. Result 10 gallons of ready for use paint, weighing 13 3/4 pounds per gallon.
