The thousands of warm letters applauding our research and confirming our findings have been extremely encouraging. "They have sought and they have found." The letters have come from many distant parts of the world. On the other hand, the murmur of ridicule and prejudice has been extremely faint, for the world is apparently ready for this knowledge.
"Man's need for health is such that he will seek for it wherever it may be found." This is the caption on a brochure of "The Key's Trust", a society in England. One of their objectives is to hold conferences and seminars where new methods and discoveries may be discussed.
In our work, time is too valuable to waste on negative prejudice for there is so much constructive good evolving from our research. Therefore, prejudice is something I choose to ignore rather than argue.
One well-known doctor of physics at Stanford University recently indicated his interest in my research findings. In the course of our discussion he made this comment, "You will have to convince the doctors and scientists." My reply was, "I do not intend to place myself in the undignified position of attempting to defend a law of nature. However, I will gladly teach them to find it out through themselves, and because it is part of us all, here is where they will discover it."
Since that time men and women in various branches of the medical profession have attended my seminars, including a young radiologist. They have all discovered the importance of this natural law in themselves in a manner that erased any skepticism that might have been harboured.
Man is notorious for overlooking the obvious and the medical profession is no exception. It was only a few hundred years ago that a prominent physician, Dr. William Harvey, was threatened with the loss of his license, because he claimed the blood circulated through the body. This historical record parallels the present lack of knowledge of the all-important fundamental design of our atomic energies. It is a tragedy that through this lack of recognition, our most precious heritage is unwittingly endangered and weakened.
Human suffering should be very much on man's conscience if it is the direct result of ignoring a fundamental law governing all life. Should such ignorance be harboured further, simply because the law does not appear to fit the present scheme of things or should it be explored?
A new yardstick is needed that excludes ancient prejudices that only accept for truth what can be seen; for the "invisible", in the form of waves is nature's design of controlling the "visible".
