1. Neutralize prior to channelling, see following chapter.

2. Never channel when your energies are deflected to right angles through a static condition, detected in the middle brain receptors. (See following chapter.)

3. Have your channel accurately marked.

4. Ground must be level.

5. Remove shoes, head gear, glasses, watch, jewelry and all tight clothing.

6. Avoid channelling in the presence of other people; this definitely has a detrimental effect on them. Also, it is desirable to protect one's own energies and keep them free from conflicting fields of energy.

7. Lay the wires or chains down before channelling.

8. Pre-channelling stimulation must be consummated before the head is in a level position.

9. While channelling keep the hands grounded against the side of the legs.

10. Head held absolutely level and turned straight to the front.

11. Shut the eyes after the head is level. It is necessary to have the eyes open in order to correctly level the head; then close them to eliminate the influence of other waves.

12. Spine erect.

13. Feet about twelve inches apart.

14. Do not exceed eight seconds in each of the channelling positions.

15. Immediately after channelling is completed move out of your channel and exercise periodically for twenty minutes. Concentrate on exercising the areas of the body under correction but avoid touching the receptors of the head. Beginners are counselled to always read the "channelling check list" and rehearse the various instructions first so they become familiar with the routine when it is required. The direction used in the rehearsal should not be related in any respect to the direction of one's own Vivaxis. The rehearsal manoeuvre will not align the body fluids and, consequently, no corrections will be effected; its value stems from the confidence gained, the necessary confidence to have one's mind relaxed when actually channelling. It also helps to ensure the accuracy that is so essential.
