This section is from the book "Born To Be Magnetic. Volumes 1 & 2", by Frances Nixon. Also available from Amazon: Born To Be Magnetic.
We refer to the new procedure of channelling as the "four and four" method. Its name is derived from the fact that one repeats the channelling process, facing twice in each of four directions, first turning clockwise and then counterclockwise. Mark the direction of your channel on the ground and a line crossing at right angles. See Figure 2. Plastic tape is often used for the guide lines.
While channelling, ground the hands against the legs and do not have chains, angle wires or anything else in them. Stand over the intersection of the guide lines and place the feet about twelve inches apart. Face your whole body towards your Vivaxis, which is Direction 1 in the figure. The head is brought to the level position, close the eyes and breathe deeply through the nose: remain in this position for six to eight seconds. Open the eyes, turn ninety degrees clockwise and face into Direction 2 and place your feet accurately on the guide line. Again keep your head level and eyes closed, breathe deeply and remain for six to eight seconds. Turn clockwise to face Direction 3 and repeat the breathing for six to eight seconds with the eyes closed. Turn clockwise to Direction 4 and repeat. Complete the full circle in the clockwise direction to number 5 and now, facing towards your Vivaxis again, repeat the six to eight second procedure. Now turn ninety degrees counterclockwise to Direction 6 and repeat the channelling routine. Complete the seventh and eighth directions, turning counterclockwise each time. When channelling has been completed in the eighth position, move away from your channel. During the half hour period of adjustment after channelling, remain isolated from people and other sources of magnetic influence.
CHANNELLING THE 4 AND 4 METHOD

In summary: there are four directions of channelling, each position being occupied twice, Directions 1 to 5 clockwise, Directions 5 to 8 counterclockwise. It is important for the clockwise positions to precede the counterclockwise portion of the procedure. The body fluids will align only when first channelling in a clockwise direction. We have experimented solely in the northern hemisphere where the energies appear to be predominantly clockwise. Below the equator the energies, we believe, are reversed to counterclockwise. The routine we are using is applicable only to those channelling in the northern hemisphere and with their Vivaxes also in the same hemisphere. Remain in each position for six to eight seconds, keep head level, eyes shut and breathe deeply with mouth closed.
"Specific channelling" is the method used to correct an area of infection, a specific circuit or specific receptors. The direction of energy wave flow is directed towards the marked receptors by stimulating them immediately before basic channelling. We stimulate the disturbed receptors or infected areas with our head always tilted down or turned to one side and the body correctly aligned to the direction of our Vivaxis. The disturbed receptors are individually stimulated by lightly tapping them with a small rounded instrument, for example, the end of a ball point pen. In order for the channelling procedure to follow the stimulation of the receptors as rapidly as possible, we face our body to our Vivaxis while tapping the receptors; as long as the head is tilted or turned the body fluids do not align. The instant the stimulation of the specific receptors has been completed the hands are rapidly grounded against the legs, the head brought to a level position, eyes closed and the routine for basic channelling is followed, the "four and four" method.
The elimination of X-ray interference is achieved in a similar manner, excepting the areas to be corrected are stressed and banged vigorously; the method is described in Chapter VIII (Technique Of Realigning X-Rayed Bones) (Technique Of Realigning X-Rayed Bones).
Wave tests show the body fluids retain a strong alignment for approximately twenty minutes after channelling. Also, the specific receptors that were corrected retain a stimulated wave motion for about the same period, which is recorded by the angle wire as it alternates vigorously to and fro in their channel.
Immediately after completing the "four and four" method we move out of our channel and thoroughly exercise the limb or part of the body which was specifically corrected. Exercising continues at intervals throughout the twenty minute period but not at the risk of over exhaustion. Post channelling exercise has proved to be very beneficial as a follow-up to channelling. During the exercising we do not touch the specific receptors that were stimulated on the head.
We endeavour to have a logical reason for everything we recommend and the reasons are dictated by our experience and observation of wave behaviour in the human system. Nature created the laws, we can only observe and try to understand them. Those who make their own rules sometimes run into complications and, worse still, create complications in others by misguiding them. It must be remembered, when we channel our energies they become a potent force, a force that can work for or against us, depending upon our understanding and adherence to the rules of wave mechanics. Channelling creates strong powers of cohesion, which stimulate a stronger atomic alignment in the cells of the body. It is our own individual energies that we harness when we channel, but nevertheless, it creates a radiation and our system has a saturation point that should be recognized and respected in order to avoid over radiation.
We prefer to err on the conservative side, in order to avoid overstimulation and the possibility of exhausted adrenal glands. Therefore, we strongly recommend caution against the overuse of channelling. Nature does not like being rushed; it needs time to replenish its resources. "Keep the power in channelling", is an appropriate motto and when an emergency arises you have it as a strong ally, not an exhausted one.
The last paragraph helps guide us to answer the question, "How often should a person channel?" The answer; I. Only when there is need for a definite correction. II. Preferably wait five days or more between channelling in order to dissipate radiation and give nature time to replenish its resources. Channelling works more effectively when there is a time lapse between sessions. III. In an emergency to combat stings, colds, viruses or bacteria more frequent channelling is both warranted and necessary. (Refer to Chapter X (So Little Can Do So Much) (So Little Can Do So Much).)
