Lymphocytes are found in the embryonic thymus; they appear in this organ before they do in any other part of the prenatal being. In the initial development lymphocytes spread from the thymus to the lymph nodes, spleen and other lymphoid areas; there they settle and make these sites capable of producing plasma cells and antibodies. The thymus also releases hormones that influence the growth and differentiation of the incipient plasma cells which produce the antibodies.

* Receptors on the head at these points, have distress signals usually when there is a head cold or respiratory infection.
* Receptors at these points have distress signals when the pancreas is not functioning normally.
X Receptors at these points have distress signals when the thymus is disturbed. Noticed commonly in conjunction with a chest cold, sore throat and allergies.
Our observations of the thymus gland show that it plays a vital role in the immunity of the body. Figure 6 illustrates the main receptors for the thymus. During a chest infection all these receptors have a disturbed circulating pattern; the lymph glands associated with the thymus, including those under the arms, also register a disturbed energy field.
During a Research Society meeting, February 1971, when our special project was the investigation of allergies, thirteen of the eighty members present had chronic allergies, a number of them with asthma. The thirteen were wave tested by myself and four other instructors. In every case the receptors of their thymus glands and the lymph glands located under their arms had disturbed energy patterns. In addition, twelve of the thirteen had disturbed energy patterns in the "P. gland" receptors. Each one of the group was shown the positions of the disturbed receptors and advised of the correct procedure for stimulating prior to realigning them. Results indicated the lymph glands only had immunization value when their magnetic energy pattern was in correct character.
In the last chapter we related Judy's experience when she corrected thymus and "P. gland" receptors and how she successfully corrected allergies from which she had been suffering since infancy. Many others have successfully overcome their chronic allergies in a similar manner.
At birth nature provided us with a built in system of immunities that basically involves our own magnetic pattern of energies. A pattern with a specific wavelength that recognizes self and rejects non-self. We have learned that if the pattern becomes disrupted through tampering or disease we generally have the power to reinstate it and the evidence of the results speaks a very encouraging language.
X-rays and chemicals are both agents that can destroy natural antibodies in the system. In fact, recipients of transplanted organs are deliberately subjected to strong doses of X-rays and chemicals in order to weaken their own immunities and, consequently, their power of rejection.
Could radiation from X-rays and toxic chemicals be responsible for the malfunctioning thymus glands noted in those thirteen people with allergies? Are these agents responsible for causing so many allergies in our civilized society?
It does appear it might be a plausible explanation. Once the balance of energies in the thymus is restored the lymph glands automatically register a normal energy pattern and the allergies are generally held under control as long as the glands remain in a normal balance.
The Montreal Heart Institute's immunology laboratory stated that each of the institute's nine heart transplant recipients had their thymus gland removed during the operation, in the hope its absence would help to prevent rejection of the new heart.
In nearly every case where we have tested people with food allergies, we find both the thymus and the pancreas glands with a disturbed energy balance. On the same team is the thyroid gland and often when there are food allergies we find this gland, too, has an unbalanced pattern of energy. "Lymphocytes need exposure to iodine of the thyroid in order to iodize their amino acids."*
Figure 6 illustrates the location of pancreatic receptors on the head; there are other receptors located on the hands, feet and at the site of the pancreas itself. In the latter case a distinct hollow on the body is generally very noticeable, which usually fills out within a day after specifically channelling the circuit of the pancreas. We now correct the disturbed receptors by using the P.H.S. method described at the end of this chapter.
Specific channelling of the pancreas generally brings quick and dramatic reversal of symptoms. Almost immediately participants have noticed an increased flow of saliva. In turn, this has increased their ability to assimilate sugar and starches: gains in weight soon follow. All seminars have been marked by gratifying results with the pancreas gland. Namely, the gland can be activated by balancing its energies so that it once again becomes a proper functioning organ carrying out its important job of producing essential enzymes.

In many places the bacteria responsible for the formation of boils have become extremely difficult to control. On several occasions we have seen people channel specifically to counteract this persistent type of infection and the results have been quite remarkable. The pain in existing boils diminished quickly and the abscesses soon showed signs of drying up. Boils that were in the formative stage just disappeared without coming to a head. Channelling appears to create energy antibodies capable of annihilating the foreign bacteria of boils and other infections.
The method of procedure is simple. The individual stimulates the infected areas with heat by means of a hot compress immediately prior to channelling. He then channels in the usual four and four method.
Many have channelled for this uncomfortable symptom with great success. Channel in the usual manner and use the P.H.S. method of stimulating.
The sting is quickly removed. The area of the sting is stimulated by firmly tapping with a wooden object and then channelling immediately, using the four and four method. If the pain and swelling return, repeat the stimulating procedure and channel again. Often within a period of twenty to thirty minutes the alignment of the body fluids dissipates and requires further reinforcement. However, do not channel more than three times altogether.
Many television viewers will recall the incident of Bob Fortune being stung by a wasp during an interview. It occurred in late September of 1969. Bob Fortune, a well-known television commentator with the Canadian Broadcasting Company, "Hourglass" programme, was interviewing me in front of our seaside home. The cameras were grinding away during the interview when "oops" Bob leaped into the air. A wasp had stung him on the leg! He was seriously allergic to stings and was particularly alarmed as he had come without his anti-toxic pills, which he usually carried.
His leg swelled rapidly and his heart pounded furiously. I persuaded him to channel and harness his own energies to overcome the poison. I located his channel correctly for him and with a wooden spoon tapped around the area of the sting. He then channelled and remained in isolation for the required period.
Bob found it quite incredible that his heart immediately quietened; he was equally amazed that the swelling and pain subsided so rapidly. Within half an hour we continued the interview where he described the incident and then concluded by asking the question, "Can you tell me, Mrs. Nixon, why my channelling manoeuvre had the power to overcome with such rapidity the reaction of the wasp sting?"
"Bob, you have just witnessed the harnessing of your own energies to inactivate and reject an energy introduced by a foreign agent", was my reply.
He shook his head as he laughingly accused, "I think you must have had a trained wasp."
It really was not deliberately planned, but we have both the wasp and Bob to thank for their contribution. As a result the programme stimulated a tremendous amount of interest.
It is tragic to see so many people suffer unnecessarily from the distressing effects of sinus disorders, that in many cases have existed over a period of years. Practically all the chronic cases that I have encountered will clear substantially by one half hour after specifically channelling the sinus cavities. If the trouble reoccurs after a few days, further treatment by specific channelling is generally all that is required for permanent and complete relief.
The receptor cells of the sinuses terminate in the finger tips and the feet; in the latter they are situated at the centre of the bottom of each toe and the centre part of each heel. We stimulate the sinus cavities with ice cubes making sure to include the areas behind the ears. The receptors of the hands and feet are stimulated, as described earlier in this chapter for the treatment of colds. Since one channels standing with feet on the ground, the heels are automatically stimulated by supporting the weight of the body.
Immediately after stimulating the receptors, we channel by the four and four method. We make sure to ground the hands against the sides of the legs while channelling; it is an important part of the procedure but sometimes forgotten.
If this method is not effective, try the post-channelling P.H.S. technique, concentrating the hot spray on the sinus areas and in the mouth.
Improvement to one's vision by specific channelling of the eyes is one of the most noticeable and rewarding achievements of this work. I can speak with feeling for at one time my eyes were a continual cross to bear and I was advised by an eye specialist that I was practically blind in the right eye. Since I learned to channel they have improved steadily and now without glasses I am able to read extremely small print, far smaller than that used in a telephone directory.
The method we use is simple. We stimulate the toes in a manner similar to that for sinuses and colds and stimulate the finger tips with ice cubes enclosed in Saran Wrap. Hold the two ice cubes for one or two seconds over each closed eye; we take care not to leave the ice on the eyes for too long a period. Make certain that the head is tilted down while stimulating. The ice cubes are dropped and then with the hands grounded against the legs we channel by the four and four method. It is particularly important to follow the normal routine of closing the eyes after our head is level while we are channelling. We must always remember to move out of our channel as soon as the channelling procedure is completed.
During the interval of post-channelling we concentrate our attention on simple eye exercises; move the eyes back and forth, from one side to the other, up and down, allowing intervals of rest. As a reminder, post-channelling is a twenty-minute period after we have finished channelling to our Vivaxis and have moved out of our channel. During this period our body fluids are strongly aligned and we focus our energies on the troubled area by exercising it. Some members prefer using the P.H.S. method, rather than the ice for stimulating.
A large majority of our research members have used the techniques described in this chapter to overcome colds and other ailments successfully. The testing of receptors is not required for any of these methods. Therefore, even the members who are unable to test have access to a relatively wide field in which to benefit themselves.
