I write this chapter with deep feeling and emotion for I know the future of this knowledge is dependent upon competent instructors. Instructors who will nourish and develop this science further. On the other hand unqualified instructors would threaten its future and reputation by turning it into a meaningless wire twirling hoax. This is also a science that is very vulnerable to pretenders who could use it to victimize the public. Therefore, for the protection of its future and the public, the Northwest Magnetic Research Society has taken a firm stand, that no member of the Society shall act in the capacity of an instructor unless chosen and appointed by the Society. And then only after the chief instructor has passed them as fully trained and qualified. By necessity the standards have to be rigid in order to offer adequate instruction and protection to all members of the Society. In our first year of organization our membership has grown faster than we can train instructors, but we are working towards bridging this gap. But not at the expense of lowering the instruction standards or putting the reputation of the science in jeopardy.

Our first four appointed instructors were Brian Cole, Nice Jepson, Peg Devins and myself. As their teacher I can say they have more than proved their qualifications. They have all set a high standard of excellence that is a credit to our Society. Each instructor is required to have one or more assistants training under them.

The instructors hold beginners' classes for members of the Society, which include instructing how to determine one's channel, the technique of eliminating X-rays and methods of determining when they are erased. If a person is unable to determine his own channel, the instructor must be able to know where to look for the cause of the interference. This is a challenge and takes a considerable amount of knowledge, but it is very seldom they are unable to find the cause and instruct their student how to overcome the discrepancy.

We cannot stress too firmly that we are not a treatment centre. We are a research society intent on discovering how this natural law applies to us. These energies are an important part of everyone and it is therefore the prerogative of each individual to study and learn of these influences to himself and in so doing observe their power of correction.

The instructors are encouraged to gain experience by working with members in special research projects only. Nice Jepson has had as one special research project a young twenty-six year old member of the Society bent almost double with painful arthritis; a condition which had plagued him for nine years. He could walk only by pushing himself forward with his ankles in a jerky leaping motion. The severe pain had necessitated heavy doses of cortisone plus over twenty aspirins a day. Brian Cole originally assisted him with channelling during a seminar. The young man could only manage to channel by bending his knees; however, it gave him an initial start.

Since that time Nice has helped him to reach one plateau after another by assisting him to reinstate his own disrupted circuits. She has instructed and given him expert guidance by being able to correctly pinpoint his disturbed receptors, but the final results were accomplished through himself, by harnessing his own energies during specific channelling. He is now able to walk better, stand straighter and is in far less pain, even though he has substantially reduced the drugs he was taking.

It is hard for most of us to realize the hell a young chap of twenty-six years must suffer realizing that life is passing him by. To even drink a glass of milk it was necessary for him to bend back from the knees, for he was unable to tilt his head sufficiently. The first time he was able to cross his legs he exclaimed in delight, "Oh, cool!" This one accomplishment alone did a lot for the young man's morale. Recently, he is able to resume painting again and in his words, "I'm over the hump now." A big bouquet to his able instructor! The help is given through dedication to researching a natural law and is always done without charge.

Brian Cole is in the Vaucouver area and is a graduate in mechanical engineering from the University of British Columbia. He has a keen interest in the research and his mind correlates all the aspects of wave mechanics remarkably well. He is a tremendous asset and very much appreciated by all that work with him. His beginner's classes are always filled to capacity and he is also qualified to hold more advanced seminars. Wendy Cole, Brian's wife, is an assistant to him; Wendy having the advantage of a nursing background rounds out a well-knit team.

Peg Devins is in Victoria. She has been extremely busy with beginner's classes, sparking enthusiasm in all those who are fortunate enough to work with her. One of her special research assignments is a young nine-year-old, a Society member's son in her district. Gary suffered from lack of balance and body control and severe eczema.

We originally researched with Gary in front of a seminar class in Victoria. All his central code receptors were disrupted, which is a condition we find always associated with multiple sclerosis, Meniere's disease and lack of body control. In addition, Gary's toes curled under and I remarked to his parents that he lacked the ability to send them wave messages. "Yes, that is exactly how our doctor expressed it, 'He lacks the ability to send wave messages to his toes.' "

Our initial step was to reinstate the main code receptors. At a later session we located the disturbed receptors operating his toes and he specifically channelled to make this circuit correction; forty-five minutes later Gary showed the group how he could now control and straighten out his toes.

Peg has continued to help him gradually overcome his other problems including the eczema; she reports there is now healthy pink flesh replacing much of the scarred skin.

This is not contact healing. It is not using magnets or any other foreign fields. What we are doing is merely recognizing a natural law and using it to permit the electric currents to work correctly. We use our own God-given energies entirely and for these there is no charge or adequate substitute and certainly no law that could condemn our right to harness our own individual energies. Whether we harness them rightly or wrongly is what we are searching for.

Stimulating the code receptors through the use of hot water after channelling eliminates in some instances the necessity of testing receptors. This is a help for the average person, but in research the ability to test receptors has enabled us to explore the underlying circuits and understand the parts they play.

It is a tragedy that in a thousand or more years of medical research they have accomplished most fantastic feats but still have overlooked an obvious fundamental. Using their present methods of dissecting, mutilating and tormenting animals, another thousand years could go by and the natural law could go undetected; for the shock to the animal's system destroys the pattern of atomic alignment that we have discovered only exists in healthy tissue.

About a year ago I found myself facing about forty doctors, students and scientists on a lecturing platform at Stanford University. A percentage had not read my books and were rather challenging. Among the challengers was a medical student. "What animals have you used to accomplish your research?" he queried. Thank God our findings have not had to be accomplished at the expense of any poor defenceless animals. Animals that only ask a chance to share our world and live in peace and health.

Rainer Scheidl, with his background of electronics, has lectured in many seminars and is currently being trained as an instructor. He was formerly with R.C.A. Victor and then for some time in charge of signals for the United Nations while stationed in Egypt. He has a background that enables him to correlate the principles of modern electronics to the same principles of magnetism that we are observing in our system.

We have requests all over Canada, the United States and England for instructors. There just are not sufficient adequately trained personnel at this time to meet the demand.

Eileen Noble is the most recent acquisition to our instructor team. She and her husband, Bill, were among the first of my students to attend a beginner's seminar and since then they have continued their studies at several other more advanced classes. Eileen has just completed a probation period assisting under an instructor. This popular couple is moving to England and should be very welcome among the many in that country who have joined the Society and are requesting instruction in the fundamentals.

The essential requirements for eligibility as qualified instructors are as follows:

1. Complete freedom from all wave interference.

2. Free from physical ailments and in good health.

3. A quiet relaxed personality. A person with an excitable temperament is inclined to blow his communication circuits as detailed in the chapter concerning hypothalamus.

4. An alert mind able to correlate his thinking.

5. Able to recognize and identify various receptors.

6. Able to determine immediately when his field or another person's field is static and at right angles.

7. Able to test accurately their own and other people's receptors and interpret their meaning.

8. Able to accurately determine the direction of other people's channels.

9. An adequate training period of working under a qualified instructor to gain experience.

10. Ability of presentation to students.

The previous chapters concerning testing receptors should make the reasons for all these requirements self-explanatory. During the seminars we are on the alert to spot those who have the right potential.

We are approached by many extremely likeable people desirous of becoming instructors, but they are often unaware of the many complications of wave mechanics. Feelings should not be hurt when not accepted, for sometimes the nicest people are not necessarily efficient wave transmitters and generally for reasons beyond our and their control. Out of the first group of seven that were originally selected and tried, only three were able to meet all the necessary requirements of efficiency.

The future for instructors looks bright for there are many promising candidates currently in training.

Hundreds of members of the Society have actively aided in the research in various capacities and have contributed towards extending the boundaries of our knowledge. In the course of their research most have found a new way to better health and as eager ambassadors shared their knowledge with those around them.

These are instructors in an unofficial capacity and a valuable asset in helping to plug the holes of ignorance, for all agree there is no room for skepticism once one has learned to get their channel and applied some of the knowledge.

The instructors' main objective is to teach the members how to understand and handle their own individual energies. If the latter are unable to test receptors, then they should be content to utilize channelling within the bounds of their own ability. All members are well aware that it is highly detrimental to an instructor to be subjected to a great number of other people's disturbed receptors. Society members must, therefore, have regard for the welfare of the instructors. Unfortunately, there are a small few who are inclined to treat others as they would an orange; squeeze out the juice and then throw away the rind.

In conclusion, my advice to instructors is - take this science seriously and give it the place of respect it deserves, but never take yourself too seriously. For this science is far bigger than any of us. It is the energies of the universe embracing every living thing. There is no room for petty grievances, personal slights, personal ambitions or any of the other weaknesses that might make one less qualified to expand this knowledge. In essence, it is bigger than you, it is bigger than me; for we are as one small grain of sand on all the deserts and beaches of the universe.

Mark Twain, in his delightful subtle humour, is quoted, 'Always do right; this will gratify some people and astonish the rest." The right thing undoubtedly is to use discretion and protect your God-given energies and talents, remembering that you can contribute far more as a good instructor than a discarded orange peel.
