Bismuth Subnitrate is a slightly antiseptic astringent employed in diseases of the gastro-intestinal mucous membranes, controlling vomiting and diarrhea and neutralizing acids. It is also employed externally on wounds, ulcers, etc. Dose, 4 to 10 gr.
