Euonymus, Wahoo. This drug is said to be the most direct of cholagogues. In very large doses it is a drastic cathartic. In moderate doses (f.e., 20 to 30 I).; ec. tr., 5 to I5 I.; or Euonymill, 1/4 to 1/2 gr.) it is a valuable hepatic stimulant, especially adapted to bilious malaria conditions. It markedly improves digestion, and is tonic in action. The homceopaths esteem the IX trituration tablets (1- 10 gr.) of euonymin in the treatment of albuminuria.
