[M. Lebas gives a form for an electuary (Theriaque) of many ingredients, the first of which (cordial powder) itself contains 26 different substances. We only insert here the simple formulAe of the French veterinarians.]
1. Powdered angelica root 2 oz., masterwort 1 oz., muriate of ammonia 1/2 oz., honey 8 oz. - Moiroud.
2. Stimulant and Expectorant. Assoeaftida 4 oz., elecampane 8 oz., honey 32 oz., for 6 doses. - Moiroud.
3. Powdered cassia and ginger, each 1 oz., honey 6 oz. - Moiroud.
