A tabulation showing the beginning and ending dates during normal spring and fall seasons for seeding of lawns. Abnormal weather conditions affect these seasons more than they affect the seasons for planting of trees, shrubs, etc. An early spring will necessitate the seeding of lawns at an earlier date to secure root growth before the heat of a correspondingly early summer, and a late hot summer will cause delay until seeding can be done with some assurance of autumn rains to encourage root growth.
