Usually taken as a free exercise, but can also be a resisted movement. In that case done with one arm at a time, usually in sitting or lying position, and in a similar way to that described for abduction and adduction.
Practically the same effect as the movements of the preceding group. Does not, however, expand the chest.
Free exercise. Same effect on shoulder as Leg-swinging on hip joint.
