Generally the imbalance of energies is comparatively easy to correct and in many instances it is only a temporary condition. It is often found in a brain receptor connected to the communication centre, possibly due to temporary worry and frustration.

The following are a few illustrations noted in recent introductory classes. One student, a young man in his mid twenties, was successfully testing his aura with the wire responding well to all the designated directions except one; No. 12 on the diagram, a direction near the left temple dependent upon a brain receptor located in that area. As his instructor, I requested he move and while facing another direction try again. During each succeeding test he illustrated the inability of that particular brain receptor to respond to a wave message. He was requested to face into other directions while testing, to eliminate the possibility that the lack of response in the original test was caused by outside influences. Due to the location of the blockage I suggested it was probably a brain receptor in his communication circuit; the malfunction possibly a result of excessive worry and frustration.

The young man experimented on his own with the new sea salt and soda method for correcting disturbed receptors, as described on page 52. An hour later he tested again; this time his interest became keenly sparked for his recording wire now moved with animation as he concentrated on direction 12, Figure 1.

"What a difference!" he commented. "Before, no matter how hard I concentrated on that direction the wire felt dead and refused to move. Feeling and seeing is believing!" he concluded.

His former cynical attitude now melted into one of eager enthusiasm as he gained entry into the Research Society with intent to pursue his explorations in greater depth. Subsequently it was revealed that for some time he had been greatly disturbed over an impending divorce in his family. Similar stories are enacted over and over again during the introductory courses; only the actors and the areas of brain disturbance vary.

In another instance a woman recorded all directions correctly except one; the recording wire became lifeless when she concentrated on the direction of the left side of her head, towards the back (direction No. 6, Figure i). I placed my left hand in her aura, in the area indicated by her testing and exclaimed, "My hand got quite a shock!"

Her discouraged and weary reply was, "I've had a pain in that part of my head for thirty odd years." She no longer has an area of energy blockage; she no longer has to live with a nagging pain in her head.

The last illustrative example to be described is possibly the most illuminating of all. It involves a man in a profession that automatically breeds deep skepticism. Frankly, I tried to side-step the suggestion that he take an introductory course, fearing his attitude would be unreceptive, but after meeting and talking with the man it became apparent that he was earnestly searching. "Man's adversity is often God's opportunity."

He had been advised to wind up his business affairs for he was afflicted by a type of motor neuron disease for which there is no known cure. Its progress was rapidly causing crippling paralysis. His right hand and arm were already showing alarming symptoms of impaired ability, in fact it was hard to hold the recording wire in that hand. With difficulty he managed to aura test and through his own aura testing he revealed areas of blockage on the right side of the head. Again the blockage was revealed through the brain receptors, by observing their inability in that area to direct the horizontal arm of his recording instrument into the designated directions.

Directly after he had reinstated meridians on the right side he noticed a decided improvement in the control and strength of his right arm and hand. Now through his own aura testing he was able to record the energy wave flow from that area. The ability to clear his circuit made him a candidate to join the Society and research further.

Testing the wave vectors to his Vivaxis in the insulation belts surrounding his aura, was of great interest to him. Due to the weakness in his right arm he used his left only.

Method

Standing out of his four channelling directions, he concentrated on a direction unrelated to his channel. As he moved his recording instrument slowly away from his body, the horizontal arm remained fixed, pointing towards the direction on which he concentrated. When the vertical arm of his instrument reached his first Vivaxis insulating belt, the horizontal arm swung sharply towards his Vivaxis and away from the direction he was concentrating on. He turned, faced into the direction indicated by the wire and tested again, keeping his head level, feet apart and eyes straight in front. In contrast, he could now record only one wave vector within the entire framework of his aura; a wave vector directly towards his Vivaxis. He was instructed to make the test brief and avoid staying thus aligned more than approximately eight seconds; after that period to tilt his head and move out of his channel.

This man, whose Vivaxis energy meridians were suffering serious imbalance, had learned within a few days of aura testing to:

(1) Recognize a steady field from a right angled field.

(2) Determine an area of blockage.

(3) Realign the whole meridian responsible for each disturbed area.

(4) Observe the difference when the blockage was corrected.

(5) Record the Vivaxis energy belt surrounding his aura and use it to find the direction of his Vivaxis.

(6) Accurately determine when he was aligned to his Vivaxis through his aura testing.

In essence this man had used his own initiative to become completely self sufficient in balancing his own energy circuits and reinforcing his gains when indicated.
